Currencies is a simple and straightforward currency converter. It is not intended to be used for real-time financial transactions, but rather as a practical companion, for example on vacation.
- The app supports all major currencies. You can choose between several exchange rate providers:
- the exchange rate. host with more than 160 currencies
- frankfurter. app with more than 30 currencies, provided by the European Central Bank
- fer.ee as an alternative to frankfurter. app with the same currencies.
- The user interface is simple and pure Material 3 Design.
- Historical exchange rates: Check the graph for the past year, to see how the currencies have evolved.
- Historical rates: You can use rates from previous dates.
- A major feature is the included calculator. Useful, for example, if you want to split a restaurant bill.
- Fee Calculator: You can add customizable exchange fees to all calculations.
- Currencies is written for Android in Kotlin, targets Android 13, and supports light and dark themes.
- The application is ad-free and does not spy on the user.
