With this app, you can see your current medication, which is registered on the Fælles Medicinkort by a doctor. You can also see your open prescriptions, i.e. prescriptions where you can still have medicine dispensed at the pharmacy. Along with the open prescriptions, you also see the medication you have already been given at the pharmacy.
You can send a prescription renewal request to your general practitioner for the medicines that appear as active. If the most recent prescription was created by a specialist, requests will be sent to this. If you do not have a general practitioner and the most recent prescription for the medicine was not created by a specialist, it is unfortunately not possible to request a prescription renewal. Certain medicines cannot be renewed via the app.
The app contains selected information from your medical care, which is registered on Fælles Medicinkort. You can always go to Sundhed.dk to see all the information. Here you will find, for example, information about older prescriptions that can no longer be dispensed at the pharmacy, who has most recently changed your medicine card, etc. On sundhed.dk, you can also see in your log who has had access to your data. You can see the same information about medicines and prescriptions for your children.
The app also displays notifications about new prescriptions or the status of prescription requests from the common medicine card on the Medicine Card tab. In the right-hand corner, an orange dot signals whether there are new notifications for one or more people, while orange dots in the person selector signal which people it is about. When a notification is no longer relevant, it can be deleted by pressing the trash can icon. Note that notifications are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Starting with version 2.0, the app uses a new solution for logging in with NemID. The solution has been developed and is operated on behalf of the Danish Health Data Agency by the company Trifork A/S. The new solution requires you to register again with your NemID before you can use the Medicinkortet again. Registration with NemID is now done for security reasons in an independent browser, where the user is directed back to the app after completing the NemID login, where a PIN code and possibly whether you want to use fingerprints as a supplement to the PIN code.
It is possible to create a guest login in the app by using NemID. Guest login works just like a normal login, except that you cannot assign a pin code and instead must use NemID at each login.
The app was developed by the Danish Health Data Agency. Any questions about using the app can be directed to [email protected].
