The Norwegian Hymnbook 2013 has been authorized for use in the Church of Norway by the Church Council in April 2012.
The Norwegian Prayer Book was approved by the Church Council of the Church of Norway in May 2012 and by the Bishops' Conference in June 2012.
The Norwegian Church at the Council of Churches holds the copyright to the collection.
