Ringan Abhangdarshan 2023 is the unique calendar by Ringan.
Why is Abhangach of the pilgrimage on the ringan calendar?
We know the biography of Dnyaneshwar Mauli because of Santshiromani Namdevaraya's Abhangagatha. Among them, the matter of pilgrimage is heavy.
In it, Mauli insists and takes Namdev on a pilgrimage. While walking, Mauli asks Namdevraya questions about devotion. Interestingly, Mauli has already written Dnyaneshwari. In response to the questions, Namdevarai explains the nine steps of devotion like Bhajan, Naamsmaran, Dhyana in Varkari terms. From it, Varkari philosophy unfolds in harmony.
Further in the Abhanga of the Pilgrimage is the story of the water in the well which explains this philosophy. His picture is present on our Ringan Abhangdarshan Calendar. Moreover, at the end of this chapter there is a description of Mavandya. In it comes the part about the pride of the Brahmins of Pandharpur by Panduranga himself.
Out of the 59 abhangas of all these pilgrimages, 12 selected abhangas are decorated on our calendar.
Although very important for understanding Varkari Santvichar, the Abhang of Thirthavali remains neglected by all of us. They should come up again and again through kirtan, discourse, bhajan, writing.
For this, Ringan has made a calendar of the pilgrimage and presented it to you.
