Scat è un applicativo sviluppato ad uso della Polizia Municipale e/o Accertatori della Sosta per la redazione di verbali di preavviso e contestazione ai sensi del Codice della Strada e delle leggi/regolamenti comunali, attraverso smartphone.

Scat permette di ottenere:
- una completa informatizzazione di tutte le fasi del processo di redazione dei verbali di preavviso e contestazione (compilazione, memorizzazione, scarico dati e archiviazione);
- la drastica riduzione delle possibilità di errore di compilazione dei verbali stessi (in particolare modo in riferimento all'omissione di campi quali, data, ora, ecc.);
- una gestione degli archivi completamente informatizzata (eliminazione accumuli cartacei e ridotto impiego di personale per le procedure di acquisizione dati e archiviazione);
- lo scarico dati in tempo reale su server effettuato direttamente dagli operatori a fine turno (o dal campo, se necessario);
