More than 60 new consumer models will be built using these two new processors, according to Intel.
Intel unveiled a series of new products during the company's presentation at Computex.
The company has particularly introduced two new mobile processors Intel Core 11th generation U-series, equipped with the Intel graphics Iris Xe - i7-1195G7 and i5-1155G7 - and designed for laptops "thin and light".
New models in 2022
These two processors are the first 5 GHz of the U series. They "accelerate the number of designs with Intel Wi-Fi 6 / 6E (Gig +)". The company plans to build more than 60 new consumer models using two new processors and nearly 250 OEM Intel Core models based on the 11th generation.
Intel said in a statement that the first OEMs to use the U-series and H 11th generation this year are HP, Acer and Asus. Under new deals with HP, DoCoMo, MediaTek and China Mobile, the company is expected to announce dozens more models in 2022.
In addition to these new processors, Intel announced its first 5G M.2 solution with global operator certification. This tool is the culmination of a recently announced pact with Fibocom and MediaTek.
