The RTX 3080Ti could get weaker now. According to some sources, Nvidia should change the graphics card and drastically reduce the RAM. Read in the article what you should be prepared for as a buyer.
The Nvidia RTX 3080Ti could be edited again by the graphics card manufacturer. This rumor is based on information from the speaker "kopite7kimi" on Twitter, who cites inside information. These have provided accurate forecasts for the tech industry in the past. Now Nvidia should no longer equip the RTX 3080Ti with 20 GB of RAM.
Instead, the manufacturer is planning "only" twelve GB of RAM for the RTX 3080Ti. The leaker did not give any reasons for the change. But if the whole thing came true, the RTX 3080Ti would fit much better between the previous versions of the graphics card. The "normal" RTX 3080 offers ten GB, while the RTX 3090 comes with 24 GB. However, there is still good news for the CUDA cores, which should account for a large part of the performance.

What could the RTX 3080Ti do?
Accordingly, the RTX 3080Ti should come to 10,240 CUDA cores. For comparison: The RTX 3090 has 10,496 cores, while the RTX 3080 "only" has 8704 cores. This means that the RTX 3080Ti should still achieve top performance despite the reduction in RAM. At least in theory, it fits in well among the competition from in-house.
So far, however, this is still a matter of speculation. Nvidia has not yet made an official announcement for the RTX 3080Ti. According to Insider, the publication of the map is said to have been postponed by a few months. The modification of the working memory would at least explain the internal shift.
