Samsung presented new products as a part of presentation. This also includes a wireless charging station for up to three devices at the same time. Apple had tried a similar product in the past, but it never hit the market.
Almost all new smartphones, smartwatches and wireless earbuds now appearing on the market support wireless charging. It is therefore all the more important to develop wireless charging stations that actually charge efficiently and, ideally, can accommodate several devices at the same time. Apple had already announced such a charging mat for up to three devices in 2017. The project was finally pulped in 2019 . The only explanation provided by the company was that the so-called "AirPower" simply does not meet the requirements that Apple places on its own products. Now the competitor Samsung is waiting with a similar product that looks very promising at first glance.

Wireless charging is increasingly becoming the standard of modern charging technology. In times when many people have several smart devices such as smartphones, smartwatches, tablets or wireless earbuds, the development of a charging station for several devices was only a matter of time. Samsung now seems to have succeeded where Apple previously failed. As Winfuture reports, the South Korean company has presented its "Wireless Charger Trio", a station for wireless charging of up to three devices at the same time.
The Wireless Charger Trio is wide and long enough that the first two slots can comfortably accommodate two smartphones or devices such as wireless earbuds in their charging case. A smartwatch, for example, can still be found in the third slot.
Non-company devices can also be loaded
Samsung states that company-owned devices can be charged with up to 9 watts on the first two slots. For "other devices", charging works with up to 7.5 watts. However, this specification refers specifically to the iPhone 8, iPhone X and iPhone 11, according to Samsung. Another Qi smartphones from further manufacturers are only charged at up to 5 watts. 3.5 watts are available for the smartwatch slot. All three slots can be used in parallel with their full power.
The device, which is marketed under the product name "Wireless Charger Trio EP-P6300", is due to be launched in September. It is offered in black and white and the recommended retail price is 99 euros.
