AutomationAnywhere’s Automation 360 platform will be available on Google Cloud, and the two companies will jointly develop services powered by AI and RPA.
Google Cloud announced on Monday a new multi-year partnership with Automation Anywhere, a company specializing in robotic process automation (RPA). The two companies will work together on the commercialization and development of joint products to accelerate the adoption of RPA in enterprises.
RPA software tries to understand how people process transactions or perform a task in order to use those rules to build automated systems capable of fulfilling those roles instead. Banks, insurance companies, utilities, and telecommunications companies are some of the biggest supporters of RPA.
As part of their new alliance, Automation Anywhere will become Google Cloud's preferred RPA partner, while Google Cloud will be Automation Anywhere's primary cloud provider. Automation Anywhere's Automation 360 platform will be available on Google Cloud, and the two companies will jointly develop services based on AI and RPA.
Automation accelerates with the crisisAt the same time, Google will also integrate Automation Anywhere RPA capabilities into several Google Cloud products, including Apigee and Appsheet. The two companies will also jointly develop industry services for supply chains, healthcare, telecommunications, retail, public sector, and financial services.
“As businesses increasingly operate in the cloud, RPA provides the means to streamline processes in both cloud-native applications and legacy on-premises systems - ultimately enabling employees to spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time supporting business-critical projects, ”said Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud. “We're proud to partner with Automation Anywhere to help businesses quickly deploy and scale RPA capabilities on Google Cloud, and meet business challenges with solutions designed specifically for industries. "
The RPA is a growing field as the pandemic Covid-19 has accelerated the need for automation. Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, and Pegasystems are some of the major RPA vendors.
