The Sun and Moon application calculates the position, rise, and set of the Sun and the Moon at a given time and place. The start time of lunar phases and lunar days is also calculated.
To improve the accuracy of determining the location of the observer, geographical maps are used.
Calculations are performed in the date range of 3000 BC. e. until 3000 AD
Although the calculations are very accurate (using Steve Moshier's algorithms), the purpose of the application is more for entertainment than for astronomical observations. For this, the application provides the possibility of interpreting the meaning of the lunar days in astrological terms.
